Welcome to From Myth to Art Anatolian Kilims. By purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Scope of Application
These terms apply to all purchases made on this website for the physical hardcover book “From Myth to Art: Anatolian Kilims” by Ali Rıza Tuna. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
2. Product Nature: Physical Book Only
- Physical Product Only: This website sells only the physical hardcover book. No digital versions (PDF, e-book, or downloadable files) are available for purchase or distribution.
- No Digital Rights: The purchase of the physical book does not grant any rights to reproduce, scan, distribute, or digitize the content of the book. All intellectual property rights remain with the author and publisher.
- Product Details: The book is a 260-page hardcover edition (30 x 26 cm), published in 2022. While we strive for accuracy, slight variations in color or texture may occur due to screen settings or the printing process.
3. Pricing and Currency
Currency: Prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF). For customers outside Switzerland, prices will be automatically converted to Euros (EUR) or US Dollars (USD) based on your location at checkout.
Exchange Rates: Conversion rates are determined by our payment processor (Stripe) and may fluctuate. The final amount charged will be the converted amount at the time of transaction.
Taxes: Prices include applicable Swiss VAT. For international orders, customers may be subject to import taxes, VAT, or GST imposed by their country, which are the customer’s responsibility.
Shipping costs: Shipping costs for your location will be added automatically at checkout depending on shippers’ tariffs for your country.
4. Payment and Security
Payment Method: We accept payments via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
Security: All transactions are encrypted using SSL technology. We do not store your full credit card details; all payment data is processed securely by Stripe.
Authorization: By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the total amount (including shipping and taxes) to your payment method.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Regions: We ship worldwide.
• Switzerland: Shipped via Swiss Post (2-4 business days).
• International: Preferred carriers are Swiss Post and French Colissimo with tracking (approximately 5-10 business days plus customs delays when applicable).
Shipping Costs: Calculated at checkout based on destination and weight. The tariffs are calculated for an individual book weight of 1.5 kg. plus book packaging.
Processing Time: Orders are usually processed and shipped within 2-3 business days of payment confirmation.
Customs and Duties: For orders outside Switzerland, the customer is solely responsible for any import duties, customs clearance fees, or taxes. We cannot predict these costs, and they are not included in the product price.
Risk of Loss: Risk of loss or damage to the product transfers to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.
6. Returns and Refunds
Condition of Returns: Due to the unique, collectible, and non-digital nature of this physical book, returns are accepted only if:
The book arrives damaged, defective, or incorrectly (wrong book sent).
The book is returned in its original, unused condition with all original packaging intact.
Exclusions: Returns for “change of mind,” “did not like the content,” or “bought by mistake” are not accepted.
Return Process: To initiate a return, contact us at info@mythtoart.com within 14 days of delivery. You must provide photos of the damaged item if applicable.
Refund Policy: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and the book’s content, is the intellectual property of Ali Rıza Tuna and the publisher. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the book or website without prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this book or the website. Our total liability for any claim related to your purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the product.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
