In the Press: Interview with Ferah Koçak Erdoğan

Ali Riza Tuna was a guest on the YouTube channel of Turkish journalist Ferah Koçak Erdoğan. In the interview, the research process in the background of the book “From Myth to Art: Anatolian Kilims”, the weaving traditions of Anatolia and the studies carried out for the protection of cultural heritage were detailed.

Answering the questions of Ferah Koçak Erdoğan, Tuna explained that each rug, like a two dimensional architecture, modifies the nature of the space where it is deployed.

Ferah Koçak Erdoğan started journalism on CNN Turk in 2003. There, she worked as a program reporter, editor and producer. In 2008, she transferred to Habertürk TV for 12 years as an editor, producer, program planning and guest coordinator. She took part in the founding team of TV100 and played a role in the formation of a new media channel. She returned to Habertürk in 2020 and ended her media career here in 2022. She has been living in Basel, Switzerland since 2022 and continues to work as an independent journalist.
